New Chum.

First Mate and I were walking along the Ramsey, IOM Quayside yesterday when we found a couple attending to an Isle of Wight built fishing boat. It was the chaps Fathers for 45 years and had been recovered from the last owner who had neglected it. Our new chum intends to restore it, a major undertaking.

We told him we were in the IOM for the racing but were having to use the bus as we have no wheels. He immediatly offered us the use of a car.

He is living on a Moody in Douglas Harbour which urgently needs a new heat exchanger for a Perkins 4108. I said I would try to find him one.

Can anyone help?

Is it a manifold heat exchanger or a straight heat exchanger he is looking for ?.
