Mr G, just out of interest, when no one is sitting on them, how will you stop them bouncing around in a head sea?

on a long passge put them away however…..I think they will be pretty secure on those pins. I might bend the bolt section as the base pin will be on a slight angle from vertical due to the hull shape….or wedge the pin base plate so it’s dead vertical. The former would help keep it secure during bouncing about possibly?

saying that….if Porto is to be believed …..she will cut through anything without drama ?

Beware of point loading on tubular type legs on the fibreglass deck. Loaded with a person(s) and a bit of a bounce and that loading is transferred completely to deck. Maybe folding flat thick ply legs with a wider foot? Of course it won't necessarily look so aesthetic but may save your deck.

Pirate etiquette. Frankly we find the rest of you rather aloof. I mean take for instance @Scala seeing Dustwings boat on a chance? Did he go over and avail himself to his friends largess and funbox uninvited? No. Hid behind a photo and hoped for an invite. This is why we have loads of mates we dont particularly like. They lock or empty their funbox

that there is an absolute weapon of a 150mm DA sander! Made a start on the untouched side…..brilliant. Much faster but still smooth. Wish I’d have had it weeks ago!

Answering myself
Make the legs a long U shape so load is across deck and can still be shiny, like your hull will be, one day.

i figured out the black tank needs a new discharge pump/macerator if that’s of any interest? Fortunately I have another 3 that won’t be needed ?

Well Google the IOM opens on the 28th , so be prepared for an invasion from the Conwy pirates , to drink your beer take your women and your SANDER. yes we will have to hire a car to take your land ship , we will just follow the Dust cloud.
