Hi all
I would like to visit france, holland, to name a few this year, but my boat is to small, so it looks like I will have to upgrade to a 28+footer. Any comments and recommendations as to good allround boats. having had sealine (great boat) I dont wish to be blinkered. Any comments wecome.

The Sealine S34 is a usefull boat and has been around a while so the prices are OK, get one with more power rather than less. And the fuel consumtion is ok on these, about 60p a mile to run.[ family have one and she is great]

IMOSHO of course,/forums/images/icons/smile.gif

As Powerskipper posted, S34 good boat, would try and get one with KAD43's(230hp) rather than KAD 32's if buying one.
Don't think would want to cross channel in anything much smaller unless nice weather. Mite be worth considering something towards the 40ft mark.
Like princesses for their seakeeping and believe fairline also good.
Also probably worth looking at MBY boat reports to get some comparisons.

Botnia Targa.

One of the best allrounders at that sort of length - 27 and 31' versions I think

Ugly as sin.

IMHO nothing touches Formula boats for real offshore use. they start at about 27 foot with single or twin diesel. You wont have the back up of the big UK makes if that concerns you plus second hand market for them less widespread.

But obv. there are many makes that could suit you, youll get hundreds of replies!!
