Great idea! Thanks. Love the more complex ones which show cabins, heads, etc. Could we have more AWBs for the mass market?

Great fun, though I've only seen about half so far. I liked the addition of the plans in some, but got confused by one or two that went the "wrong" way when I tried to drag them round. There are a lot of pretty bleak interiors to my eye, and an awful lot of twin aft cabins, and some without much to hold on to. The additional cabin snapshots were useful too.

I like them too, interesting that the Bav 34 looks spacious when in fact it's compact... So a bit difficult to get a proper sense of scale, but good :)

Might be a feature of the technology even the Rustler 33 looked roomy with 8ft beam, ditto the Winner 9m with a tad more than a She of an earlier age.

Excellent. How does the system work Snooks? Does it depend on a lot of v expensive stuff or an add on to a conventional camera?

Winner have made some nice boats imho & very few owned here. They are under new management & have a new building facility

This should now be corrected :0)

It's basically that the older ones you point your mouse and clik and it will take you to that position....but as technology has moved on we have all become used to clicking anf dragging and scrolling like you do on an ipad or smartphone :0)

To be fair to Winner, the quality of materials used and the way they are put together along with the personalisation available means they do cost more than a Beneteau, Bavaria, Dufour, Jeanneau, Hanse of a similar size. But you do get what you pay for.

A lot more light down below that you'd get in older boats, but, by jings, they don't half look austere.

Also, they don't seem to have any wee dookets for rubber erasers, bits of string, old bulbs, and screws and washers that came off things but you cannot remember what.

People used to say that about the GT35.

Clearly your not in the targeted market.

Some of the latest offerings are indeed dreadful.

Gerald Ratner comes to mind.

My Bav 37 has loads of dookets for bits and bobs, and loads of useful shelves.

Yes, you can clearly see the difference. However, when it is your own money you are spending you have to asses whether that difference is of value to you - and difficult to justify a 40-50% premium, particularly in the cost of "extras" where the mass producers can offer them at significantly lower prices.

I agree entirely, it depends on your financial position, and the value you place on something. As I said in my report it's a tough decision between the Hanse 315 and the Winner 9 both sail like a dream, the Winner is better fitted out, but cost more the Hanse does the same job, but lacks the quality of the Winner. It's the same with everything, including cars. Do you buy a BMW 320 or a Focus Estate; both get you from A-B but is the extra you pay for the BMW really worth the extra build quality? Some say 'no', others say 'yes'. Who is correct?
