Thanks Mike. Big step. and small steps. It's a sort of restart.... but I've got a lot to unlearn.Congratulations Scala, lovely boat! I hope she turns out to be everything you hoped for
I like it hot! hot hot hot. Although Mrs Scala is a redhead so not brilliant in any kind of daylight really.Rather the Med?! Second best and the people that frequent it can be right bores. Sunshine this, Sunshine that. Too bloody hot. Yadda yadda yadda. And dont get me started on frigging deadrise, EGT's and Llama something or other dead beat boats. Besides, how many Med boys do you see knocking about now? They're all off pouting cos the locals wont play.
Thank you. Today was a start, I've every expectation that this will go well (or why would we have done this) and I've pointed out to my 20-something-year-old children that any hope of any actual money inheritance when we die is long gone. I think they got the message when I willed the mortgage debt on our spanish property to them when they were teenagers.Just use her as she was intended to be used and post up your reports. I hope she brings you as much joy as ours has brought us.

It does look fab I grant you.Coming from a place where it would hit the high 30's by 9am I do not miss hot at all. I love this balmy four seasons in a day weather we get. Out boating is always interesting and different each time we go out, even if it's to the same place two days on the trot. And we are so lucky because we can get out in almost any weather here and still go somewhere sheltered and nice.
Yes, some tuition yesterday from the handover tech, and a day tomorrow, weather permitting, with Mark (Elessar) as a starter....
So hopefully G will have someone helping, or had someone?
