Very nice covers. Must have really cheered you up as you walked to the boat and saw them. When you get the invoice just get someone else in the house to write the cheque so you don't see the full cost

Tecsew get great reviews here, and they are very helpful - but Poole is a good few miles away from them when it comes to measuring, checking, fitting (all chargeable trips). Before I add 10% to my new covers costs, is there a similarly well regarded cover company here in Poole perhaps?

Covers look great

We went for the same exterior colour but in the lined Sunbrella Supreme fabric, mainly because it folds so easily. You would think the opposite would be the case, but you can feel the difference even on a small sample. The lining is beige which I can't decide is a good or bad thing but I'm sure we'll get used to them either way.

Magnum the standard spec for my boat included lined canvas work and I had it on my first sq78 but deleted it on the second. 2 ply cloth is heavier and thicker to handle and roll up than 1 ply. The aesthetic benefits of the lining hardly matter unless you are in cold climate and use the covers a lot, IMHO. The lining is also good at collecting dirt/scuff marks.

When I was at the Princess factory a few weeks ago, one of the guys was raving about it saying how it folded down far more compact than Sunbrella Plus. I was sceptical - I mean it does have a linen flock lining - but I was sent as sample of each and he was right. It's nowhere near as stiff and folds much more easily. It also doesn't feel any thicker, which I appreciate doesn't make sense.
