Looking at that overhang, I am not sure I would have been standing that close to the edge!

Actually we are allowing the clliffs to erode in the hope of creating a few more acres of low lying floodland to build more houses on for the Lundunners to buy.

Closer to Brightlingsea (which is providing quite enough new housing to Londoners) East Mersea country park looks exactly like the photo, except the washed away trees are washed away gun emplacements.

Surely, this is "a jolly good thing" because it makes the sea bigger. The water might be a bit thin in places, but there is lots of it!

Not too sure the residents of low lying coastal area would agree as they watch their garden sheds washed off the end of the garden. Hmmm, on a plus point less grass to mow!

I am 40 miles in from the coast so the 'global warming' effect on sea levels are not on the top of my list of worries.
