Never ever thought i'd say this!!

First night on board the caravan and its just like being on the boat but dryer,warmer and more space.No idea how to work out how much buoyancy though? C of G is easy.While i was in USA you could just buy floats for different size vans.

Start with a litre of air per kg of weight. If your caravan weighs 400kg, your floats should need at least 400L buoyancy.

I might be tempted not to cut it quite so fine........
 
True....in my last job i could have easilly got those. Doubt they mix with salt water though.The American floats on st.Johns river looked good, they were polystyrene with a rubber coating.
