Neutralising diesel smell

Cleaning the bilge under the engine is on my list of things to do now.

I can recommend Citrus Degreaser, such as this for getting rid of the oil and fuel spills.

Its an acquired smell. Do you remember the moment in the film Apocalypse Now, when the Captain said " I love the smell of Napalm in the morning" Diesel boat owners are like that. A good dose of particulates means that everything is all right with the world.

Think i would prefer oil than the boat smelling like a porta loo
