Needle in a Haystack??

Back in the mid to late '70's (the 1900's), I sailed with a friend, Peter and his father Tony, who had a Westerly ketch, "DONCLARE", (I think it was a Longbow) which was moored at Whitby.

My friend left York during the 80's and I have tried, without much luck, to trace him and his father. I know they moved up north but I'm not sure if they now moor their yacht on the east or west coast.
