I've recently bought a Navik which, it turns out, is missing a fairly vital component. Plastimo do not seem to be making spares any more. How would I go about having the piece fabricated- I presume I would need technical drawings.. which will still be under patent?

Alternatively, does anybody have a defunct Navik lying around that I could scrounge a part off? It is the 'balancing unit' which connetcs the quadrant to the arm that holds the paddle.

I had a Navik on a previous boat and it was brilliant. any spares needed I got from Sea Teach in Emsworth it might be worth trying them to see if they have any parts still in stock.
