Nasa Marine Clipper Wireless Wind System - ?? Any good ?

Just fitting one on to my boat, display not quite as good as the Raymarine ST60 had on my last boat, but one hell of a difference in price. Can't see why it should be any less reliable than other units as other NASA kit that I have used has been pretty good.

I'm generally a fan of NASA kit, but not of their wind indicator. One came with my boat 9 years ago and within the first 4 year I replaced the cups twice then the unit packed up - water had got in it.
NASA might have made improvements in the past few years but I'd want to see lots of positive feedback from people that have had it longer than 4 years before buying. Or I might just fit one on a pole on my stern so I can easily replace the cups when they go. Or I might get lucky and find a second hand Raymarine wind display to go with the Raymarine wind sensor that I've just been given. Its a very much more robust looking bit of kit

My one worked well for three years, the mast came down each winter and the indicator taken home then the cups seized up. I still get wind direction but no wind speed, the mast has remained up the last two winters so nothing has been done to it.
