Bought an AIS from nasa on ebay. Got it on the nadv station and got a spare VHF running to the nav station. Can't connest the two up though. Its not a standard VHF socket on the back of the AIS. Mailspeed marine weren't able to help. Anyone got one and know what the plug attatchment I need is called?

thanks in advance

Hi
Your local chandelry will have them but dont buy the crimp ones as you need the special crimping tool. you can get a solder less ones that just screw together.

The connector is a BNC. If you have the big PL259 plug on the antenna you can get an adaptor. I got mine from nasa for about £3-
