Does anyone know the name of the line holder/docking aid that looks like a rowlock on a pole with a sprung bolt holding it to the pontoon? Can't find the name anywhere.

Moorfast?
No, they actually bolt to the pontoon.
It's an aluminium pole, with a black plastic rowlock on the end and a spring on the bottom that bolts to the pontoon. Idea is to keep lines high enough an aft cabin boat can pick them up. There's quite a few in the marina I'm in, but I'm not there at the moment and I'm having extreme difficulty tying up a 39' mobo solo.

Does anyone want to buy 2 ? I have a couple not being used in my aft locker - didnt realise they were so expensive!

Been making the above for years
Sticking them on pontoons
Making mooring lines to measure for people
Cheap as slim fried potato’s
Labour
It’s very tricky you know cutting and splicing string etc
Only 212 quid an hour plus vat!
😂

What a clever idea, but how do you attach the pole to the dock and presume you dont need s metal spring\? thanks Seasick

Having boated in Spain for 7 years I forget that it's not the norm to call the marina and ask for them to send assistance to the dock to pass lines, fend off, etc!
Kawasake, is nuts that is fixed in his vice , he hooks is rib on it on its trailer and his dog on the other side.
