Anyway, that's quite enough talk about bras: back to boat names.

As an example of why it needs a bit of care in choosing the name: I know you're not really supposed to repeat what you hear on the VHF, but there was one pan-pan, from a small boat yesterday called ...

"Bikini Bottom"

I swear you could almost hear the (sounded quite grizzled coastie) laughing into his tea, as he asked the vessel to spell out the entire name again using the phonetic alphabet for all the world to hear.

Bravo, India, Kilo...

And then "Is there a vessel in the area that could assist with Bikini Bottom"...
