Took the short ride downtown on the bus this morning. Met an old friend of Boubas.

Then on down to the port for coffee and a visit to the local fishermen's retail shop.

We chatted to the lady serving and she recommended a local fish, Burro Listado. So we got a couple and she dis all the filleting, 12 euros. Was offered head and bones to make soup.....politely declined.

Nice way to spend a sunny morning.

Did you grunt after eating it?:)
Excellent recommend by the lady in the shop. White fish, nothing much extra needed, simply a chopped up garlic clove, some lemon juice and just a pinch of salt. 4 to 5 minutes a side in the frying pan, does break up a little but no problem.

Served with some pan fried fresh veg and mashed potato's.

Yum.

Bones?
I'm not a lover of bones

Son no 2 and partner have arrived to crew for me for a week or so. I think they felt the need to fill up on energy. Equivalent of condemned man eating hearty breakfast I think.

This is the Cofradia down in the port showing the restaurant, shop and landing for sorting bit.
Apologies for poor framing, was on the pontoon and sun right on the screen.

Had a nice spin out for an hour after though!
