We lived aboard in Calero for a couple of years. Visit quite often now by car to meet up with friends in the English Tea Room up on the square. The yard is better there too and take and fetch a vouple of friends boats now and then.
Yes, we love it in Calero, nice chilled vibe and the marina is lovely, not to expensive to moor either.
I have been enquiring as still have an urge to have a boat here.
Got family that live just up the road in Tias.👍

Certainly Lanza gives, for me, a lot more sailing options than the other Islands. We know two couples that as well as the sailing, find that a yacht is a great holiday home option. Guess you know the island well but do give me a shout if you want to know more about local sailing.

In all the Paris pictures the dog I missing. You haven't disposed of him to facilitate your travels !
Yes where is the dog he deserves a snifif around Paris, after all he is the star of your life😂
Yes it is true….the boy is staying with his babysitter. This whirlwind nonstop tour of Paris is to take the wife’s mind off how much she misses him

It's a real education for me to see these photos of Paris, as years ago as a Seaman I was a regular visitor to a loading berth a short distance from the Gare Du Nord. We used to load bulk wine in big metal casks which were delivered by train to the nearby Railway Station. The voyage up river was a bit of an eye opener to a deep sea man, going under those bridges used to give me the willies...

I was a regular visitor to the City and the plump bird from the Tout Va Bien waterfront bar showed me some sights, but never those fancy gardens or the opera house... :giggle:

Thanks for the offer it’s appreciated. I’d really be after a motorboat with the option of like you say, using it as a holiday home aswell.
There’s a very limited choice of motorboat on the Canaries though.

Take care, there are some money pits around, especially with inboard petrol engines.

A bit off topic, but I noticed that this thread has reached more than 1250 posts, many of which contain good photos, which must make it a popular one - I'm enjoying it anyway.

But I note that it was started by 'Deleted member 478', F.K.A. Stingo; anybody know what happened to him? Hopefully not demise or ill-health, but did he flounce or was he pushed? Or maybe reincarnated under a new identity? I rather liked the occasional update about the adventures of Spooner's feline...
