I was prepared to go to my death to argue that I was right....but when I went to the wife to back me up....well...let’s just say she took your side

So…change of plans. We decided to knock Le Lavandou on the head….because if the weather g*ds are in our favour we might go there by boat during the week.
So right now we are in a delightful beach restaurant just outside of Sanary-sur-mer

There is a little island here that is truly delightful….isle de Embiez. We have been many times…by ferry and by our own boat.
We are not going there today…but next to the Embiez are two smaller islands that are connected to the mainland by bridge…so after we digest we will do a dog walk on them.
As the dog’s joints age the walks are getting shorter, slower and the terrain less challenging

To expensive even back then ! They were saving up for a deposit on a 2 bedroom house. Possibly buy a beer nowadays with that money.
