Well after selling my flybridge I finally completed the purchase of a very nice Sealine S42 with TAM 75 engines on shafts, she is full med spec with passerelle, aircon, genny stern thruster etc just in case I get the feeling I need more sun

I love the size of this boat for the length she is I cant believe how big she feels both down below and in the cockpit

I will be getting her transported from the river Thames down to Weymouth on Tuesday 31st March so you may see her on your travels if your around that area we will be following her down so I will get some pics and a few vids of the journey

here are a few pics of her courtesy of the previos owner who had only had her for just over a year

That's a beautiful boat and wish you many happy hours.

I once spent 2 hours in a rib sat in the wake of one in a F6-7 channel crossing. Took the weather really well and gave us a lovely trip home!!

Many congratulations! I've viewed one in the past and remember being impressed by the space all round but especially in the mid cabin.

Sealine was ahead of it's time fitting the HT as well :). You are going to love those engines, you won't be short of power. She looks very nice indeed, wishing you many happy times onboard!

That's harleyford? A short walk from my house. Must be a smashing boat with 75s. What a waste on the Thames. Glad you're going to use her properly.

The previous owner who is a fellow forumite bought her due to the space I think more than for the engines but it will be good to open her up again the engines look in superb condition no smoke on start up and everything on the boat works as It should

Congrats Shawn,
Sealine have always packed a load of space into the length and I remember being really impressed with these when launched at Southampton boat show. I hope she's everything you were looking for. Good start with Tamds' and everything working.

Looking forward to seeing her en route.

Enjoy.:encouragement:

Hi all,

Yes, I'm very pleased for Shawn as he's just taken over custody of our lovely S42 and we hope he has many good years boating with her.

We bought her from the Hamble up to Marlow and have been pootling up and down the river for a while, she has run without a hiccup and we have loved every minute on board, both motoring along and sitting relaxing in that superb cockpit watching life, birds and boats go by.

If we hadn't totally got the boat "we've got to get one" bug for another model then we would have moved her, after having done a bit of time close to home on the Thames, back down to the coast to Lymington over this winter. TBH, she was bought as our forever boat and we would so happily have kept her and gone coastal with her.

So best wishes to you and your family Shawn and safe, happy boating. Looking forward to meeting up on the water sometime during the summer.

Andy

Spent a week on one before (on outdrives), un-real amount of space down below. We were tempted to buy, but the cockpit layout wasn't for us. But down below? Jesus you could smuggle multiple families into the country!

Well wear!
