I finish work today for 12 months. Going to do an Atlantic circuit. Leave UK at the end of May to head to Kinsale then Spain, Portugal, Canaries and the Caribbean.

Cant wait!!!

Tim,

Looks like an ARC circuit? I am going on it too. Be good to catch up with you en-route. Feel free to email me if you are so embarked.

best regards and happy sailing,

Alan

Wholly Irresponsible

No wonder we are having a job to make ends meet with the old pension - people taking time out, gap years, early retirements - where will it all end....
And another thing - if you think that when you get back you'll just be able to slot back into a job, then think again - I've just had a fortnight off and Monday is going to be hell, I can feel it in my water, so after 12 months well, need I say more?
Still, if you are intent on this foolhardiness you may as well try to enjoy yourself, cancelled the milk and papers have we?

I think I may have met your wife.. a physiotherapist perhaps? I have a creaky back and neck and knee................old age really, or was it bad motorcycle racing?

If the conection is correct then I believe that the cat has all the bells and whistles needed fro the trip and I know that you are well prepared, Best of luck and enjoy the adventure.

I've yet to do the Carib but can recommend the other places without hesitation.
In fact if my knee doesn't improve in the next couple of months we may meet in the Canaries, can't go to work unable to walk but could possibly manage a Transat as I'd hope to be sat down most of the time!

Good luck and safe sailing

Graham

Congratulations Tim,

I hope you think about us while we nurse our hyperthermia.

Are you planning to run a website so we can nose in from time to time to see where you have got up to?
