Awright - FWIW I've just heard that most of the bits are in place for the deal. It's a 1997 Maxum 3000 SCR with twin 4.2 diesels, and 102 hours. Annually serviced regardless of cost, and looks like new.

Still got to do a sea trial and get the surveyor round it but I've spoken to the engineer whose looked after it since new and he confirms our initial thoughts.

It's going to be a GREAT summer. Not 100% certain of the name - "Hello Buoys"..
