Millbrook didn’t look this good last time I visited.

I don’t think it has ever been a shiny looking boatyard. It’s not in an economically shiny part of the UK. But the head honcho is a thoroughly decent chap, and very talented. Multihulling being a small world, we have known him a bit for at least 25 years. He has always been willing to share knowledge, is unfailingly pleasant even though he is still waiting for our lottery win.

Its a great place and between the yard and Multimarine and Dazcats , Darren and the gang have built a great and very skilled business. I was there in the spring to haul out and do some work and before that about 4 years ago. That was whilst they were rebuilding Rain Maker and the guys in the workshop showed me around - really skilled people there.

I posted a video yesterday made by some a YouTuber called La vagabonde who visited and it was a most enjoyable 25 minutes of Multihull Centre. The boats are amazing - even the first Daz Cat being refitted looked modern and new.

The owners house was something wonderful.
