okay, i have got out the Jolly Roger. And I am afraid it makes the burgees look a very sick indeed.

I want a burgee that will be visible half a mile away. A burgee you could use as a blanket in warmer weather. A burgee at least 4 feet wide at the back and 6 or 7 feet long. A burgee that you would have to be a bit careful about it taking your eye out. One that you could perhaps even see on the radar and say oho (or maybe uh-oh) another ybw forumite. Can we have some of those? I think they should be under 40 quid, printed one side probably, not embroidered.

As most people on here seem to spend so much time at the computer with their pyjamas and slippers on, what about pyjamas with the logo on. We could also put the old small flags on the end of the slippers. Any Tattoo artists on here /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Re: Forum Pyjamas

Why not create a whole clothing range, it could take off, just to think you could be standing on the tube with all the smells of the underground and armpits being forced into your face, nose to nose with total strangers and then as if by magic, they are wearning the club pin, Tie, Siut, Shirt, Shoes with wind reflective tape for the raggies... and it wounld be so bad afterall

Sorry, not enough market demand, so will have to be bespoke.
Also Designer will want bloody great cut for agreeing to use of IPR.
Also SAE method wouldnt work - need to be client arranges carriage by flag carrier.
Also SO big will get much more buggered by flapping wildly in strong winds so no warranty offered or implied.
Also flying same could lead to squillions of idiots asking you what its all about and youll soon get fed up trying to explain the origins and history - esp if you try and relate battle of the burgeee re hlb and snappy1.
Also quote 'A burgee you could use as a blanket in warmer weather' - does this mean when you're 'flagging' ?
Incorporating metal strips for detection by radar perfectly poss but why not go the whole hog and incorporate username activated by incoming radar as IFOF.
Would need such a big and conspicuous flag to be accompanied by owners contractual agreement re not flying in such a way as to bring flag (and mobochatters) into disrepute. Blimey, we're getting so much angst re little feller I shudder to think what would happen if we went BIG time.
Could go on and on (and sure others will) but , sod it, time for my weetabix.
Final thought, why not infuse flag with recognisable odour for easy detection when downwind. 'Onion Burgee'....could become a world beater - 'bout time we brits re-established our leadership in eccentricity dontcha think? (mind you, certain fella around here seems to be striving to do so via whacky ravings in certain boaty mag .........)
