I have some sliding blinds across the bridgehead hatches which have mould stains. I haven’t been able to remove them but seeing they are £90 each to replace I thought about painting the fabric. Anyone tried it?

I don't think painting works well on blinds, would probably make the blinds very stiff and the paint may flake.
As a first step I'd try baby wipes, they were recomend by the manufacturer of my blinds.
I that doesn't work try a bleach spray. That worked on roller blinds on my Dufour 40. But be sure to remove as much of the each as you can after its removed the mould.

I think Ian is right, painting wouldn't be a success. But I wouldn't use bleach, I'd try Boracol which won't damage the blind, whereas bleach probably would. I found Boracol worked to get rid of some mould stains on portlight curtains.

I got a quote from Oceanair for replacement hatch blind fabric pieces, and then decided to first try Milton (ie bleach) on mould-spotted blind fabric. Cleaned them up quite well, and did not have to spend £££s.

I'd go for Boracol or Patio Magic. It's not very nice stuff, so for interior use I'd take the blinds off and do it outside, or do it with ventilation and not inhabit the boat until it has been washed off, which I would leave for a day or two.

I took my oceanair blind off, used bleach spray & gave it a good wash down afterwards & it's good as new. I think if you wash it thoroughly afterwards the fabric isn't seriously weakened or damaged (mine has worked fime since anyway)...

Used bleach and old tooth brush, dip it in bleach and scub the marks and then wash right away , no issues , also do this with stubborn stains on me whites , better than Daz:encouragement:
