I know the answer to this and am using the disposable moisture catching thingys. And ventilation but still getting a bit of mould on cushions. Is there anything else to be done. Boats on a swinging mooring, so no power. South coast of UK. In use every now and then through the winter. So need the cushions and in any case nowhere else to keep them

I get mould (like black dots) on my curtains and the boat feels relatively dry. If the mould is 'fluffy' it is more than likely from food so the covers will have to be washed unless they are plastic type.

Keep your bilges etc. as dry as you can. Wash salty stuff. Probably worth taking the cushions home and cleaning them there, even if you then have to store them on the boat. Sometimes hard to control mould which is already there at this time of year as the temperature goes through dew point so much, and rain in the air.

Interesting article in post 5. Sounds worth trying.
