Sorry for all the posts related to annual maintenance :o

I recall a thread from a couple of years back where someone (was it David - FlowerPower?) posted a list of part numbers for things like belts, filters etc that could be purchased from, say, Halfords at the same or better spec as the hiked in price marine part equivalent.

I've looked but cannot find it, can anyone help please? I am particularly interested in the belts and the air filters.

Many Thanks

Belts - major size commonly 10, 12 or 17 mm plus circumference. Run a piece of string around the belt and take off about 20mm, the adjuster will take up any difference. Any decent bearing supplier. Suggest SPZ or XPZ type.

Filters go here and put in the OEM part no. http://catalog.baldwinfilter.com/

For cross referencing other filters put the in the same comparison chart and see if the same Baldwin item comes up. For the oil filters I probably already have these listed and loads of new for a few quid, but the ones I have are quite long so you would need to check you have space.

I will see if the part numbers for the KAD32 are similar to the details I have for TMD40 and TAMD60.

There is nothing that cross refers from the kad 32 to the Tamd 60 series, the fuel filter looks the same but is a different micron rating, that's of course if you want to be 100% right fitting though they look the same.

The genuine Volvo ones also look the same on the two engines but are different part numbers. Some aftermarket companies who I will never mention there name on here again can supply aftermarket filters.

that's the jobby Steve :encouragement: Knew I'd seen it somewhere. Going to put a few orders into Euro Car Parts for the belts and Air Filter

Unfortunately the Baldwin site doesn't mention micron ratings. I use 30 micron on the prefilters & 10 micron on the fine filters.

The VP crank vent filter 876069 is available as a pattern part from these people for a more realistic price.
