Motor Boat Chat, conclusions from recent feedback

Re: massive cosy corner tho...

Only remember saying it once Kim. But all meant in best possible taste.
Now people have talked about cliques on here. This is one of the very few places, real or in hyper space which genuinly has no cliques.
Now what it dose have is friends that have been talking on here for years and we therefore know each other by name. Without looking back and folward, all over the place for the names of newbies. This is unfortunate but like the rest of us, you to do it all the time, its natural.
Best example I can think of lack of clique.

Gludy came along as a newby. He asked the most rediculas question. " Ive got a 35 horse tender and want a bigger one, how big can I have." Or words to that effect. I slagged him a bit. Hopefully in a good humoured sort of way and many others did too. He took it in his stride, took the advise,
Bought 5hp, reported back and is now part of the (Clique) (Gang) (Party)
or regular as it is termed on here. Even though he is new to boating and needs advise.
The other thing to bear in mind. Is we on here are not following a party line, we arnt paid to come here, dont have a company policy to follow. But are just a load of mates trying to help each other a bit and also get a bit of amusement as well.
Any clup, pub, or other place where people come together, there will be conflicts and disagreaments, but remarkably few on here, thats why we come and why the site is growing so much, hence the problem (Whoo Slow down) or whatever. (Naughty Kim has changed the thread name so I cant remember)
Dont know anybody has to apologise. for coming on here Kim. Just a comment or question will do. But a bit of a Hi or Please and some detail in question helps.
Maybe you should intervew the prospective newbies before letting them loose on us and give them a crash course on what to expect.

How about a bit of a note when registering.
Like.

Caution.
