If it's the picture I think it is, (Chap on ladder under Helicopter being attacked by shark?) it's a genuine one - it's been floating around on the internet for a while. It was actually taken in South Africa during special exercises, and is not touched up. It has been entered for the picture of the year.

PS - don't know what happened to the poor sod on the ladder

This picture is a fake and this picture and the story has been making the rounds for quite some time. Do a research on google.com and you will find out for yourself. My friend took the picture and showed it to me. It is absolutely genuine the so called fakes are attempts to reassure the world that it is safe to hang from a helicopter above a swirling sea. Apparently the animal is a baby beastie and mummy was round the corner scaring the shit out of a lone surfer who achieved 0-60 on a little ripple. Apparently the real location was Tolcarno beach in Cornwall. Just think what it would do to the tourist industry if the truth were known? Have you ever asked why you have never spotted walruses (or should it be walri?) on the beaches of Cornwall ... its because mummy & baby eat them all up before they get to the shore ... so there Mr Smarty Pants!
