An interesting programme on Radio 4 this morning featured a 30 minute interview with Peter Stapleton, the captain of a freighter that successful saw off a Somali pirate attack. (See this post for a link).
At one point towards the end of the programme they were discussing storms and the (very experienced) captain commented that severe storms were becoming more common. What is the panel's explanation for this?
