Moorings in Dale

Why don't you ask them in Dale yacht club? There are a couple of sailors in Cardiff yacht club with morrings down there. I have always found Dale yacht people to be very helpful. If you just want a temporary mooring in the Haven, Lawrenny offer a temporary morrring as well. They have a website.
As I am certainly not cute, does this mean you are not single??

It was one of the CYC members (who comes on here) who suggested posting here! I will ask Dale Yacht club tomorrow.I'm not sure on CBYC rules but the ideal would be to swap my pontoon berth (Cardiff) for a mooring down west for a month or so.
As for single, well as it says......sometimes!

As above, your best option would be to ask in the Yacht Club. Alternatively, if your location is flexible to a degree there are a couple of options available further up the haven, Rudders boatyard at Burton offer moorings on a rental basis. Lawrenny Yacht Station is also another option, slightly further up the estuary again.

How big / heavy / deep is your boat?
And are you after a mooring to use with you on board / about - or one that you can leave the boat on and disappear for a couple of weeks.
As said above - I suspect there is a reasonable chance - especially if you don't necessarily have your heart set on Dale as it will increase your options.
That said there are often spare / temporarily empty moorings in Dale over the summer when boats are away.

Boat is a Colvic Atlanta ketch 32 so about 4 tonnes long keel drawing 4.5 ft.Ideally popping back so leaving her for a week or two at a time. Only reason for Dale is friends will be based there so ideal for the kids.
