Does anyone know if there's anywhere to keep a narrowboat or motorboat on the water in Glasgow. My son is going to University there and he wants to live on the water rather than rent a flat.

The only place I can think of is at Bowling, which is the entrance to the Forth & Clyde canal. Look on the net and search for Bowling, Forth & Clyde etc... and you will soon get a phone number to enquire by. Bowling has bus services and a train station (I think) which will go straight to Glasgow in about 20 mins.

Hi Lillian, you could always have a look here. I don't know how far along this project is. Idon't expect it will be cheap and they may not allow liveaboards.
