Berthon at Lymington (www.berthon.co.uk) charge £118 per foot, per year + VAT of course and I think you'll find that's about the going rate. So about 4 grand should do it. MDL at Port Hamble might be cheaper? Anyone know?

MOORING FEES in Marinas

£3,000 to £4,300 at the posh end, toilet blocks with heating and that.

Half that tucked up a backwater, toilet blocks with spiders etc.

£500 - £1,000 for a deep water swinging mooring (waiting list up to 20 years at Hamble and Lymington), toilet facilities = bushes by the dinghy park.

Here's one for a bit of investigative journalism. How many local authority (ecomonical) moorings are actually occupied by the leaseholder. How many are occupied by a boat that belongs to the leaseholder.

premiermarinas.co.uk gives sample berthing rates, something like 3grand I imagine for port solent. And they are at the boat show so they must be keen.
