mine smarted a bit when the whole nail got sanded off with a 2` disc bench sander /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
Did mine with a power plane (Photo available) Didn't feel a thing the bits of flesh that were fire out of the dust outlet made a nice pattern on the kitchen I was fitting. 3 years later still have still haven't got full nail on thumb
do recall there being a bit of 'splashage' across the table saw when I left in a hurry. The leather glove I was wearing only had 3 fingers on it, so its possible it could be lying somewhere with bits of surplus finger in it
never have been the best safety wise with big power tools, usally lop a bit of something off of somewhere about once a year, managed a chunck of my forearm a few years back with a power plane and a bit off the end of my finger last year with a chop saw - stuck that back on, few steri-strips and its right as rain now
