I think Kwakers needs a new thread in case more scroungers miss this one.

i WILL Gladly get the beers in if you 'southern siders' can get yer boats
/butts outa yer bay and around to 'unexplored waters' just around Bardsey Sound
Sound like a good Idea you tea bag you?

Much prefer tea bag to scrounger ,shame those silly emojis picture things didn't show up after my comments as meant in jest. Tetleys bitter still better than the tea in my book.

Will speak with the troops and report back, all weather permitting of course

Cheers
Tetleys

Kwakers specified scroungers. ''Like Souls... short pockets'' etc. You rallied to the call. I thought it was a safe assumption. ..

;)

'Now Here This' U Motley lot
'Stand still there'!!
I am hatchin a Plan for all and the also ran
To seek this Pub so isolated
That all can be congratulated
To hit the Mark , this sandy shore

That Sandy Shaw will not be singing on
Barefoot we can saunter on
This Shore She wont be singin on
Barefoot I say, tiss the way to go
Unless yer get yer wellies filled
With sand and water ter boot
'Der geriit 'ter boot'?
Anyway
We arrive at this Sceptred Place
And drop our Hooks to keep a space
To anchor here is such a joy
Unless thee anchor does not employ, it's duty thereupon
Like a few years ago, when several Forumites went on
To find there dinghies not tied on
To the Mother Ship , a Little Ship' she was
But like a Mother She stood and watched
Her childers quite awash
Faffin about whilst gettin sober and looking for dinghies who were
All over the bay and cast adrift
Cos the 'mariners' who owned them
Had not tied on their small Taxies
Had not perfected the knots u need
To tie along the Mother Ship, in this Ideal anchorage
Was a good idea when we were not Pissed!
But on the morrow that did follow
When heads where not a best (including the nautical ones; like yer shit house on board, keep up) because of the drunken mess
Of most of the 'Mariners' there had no idea where to go and which way the wind would blow
Had done with morning break of wind and f%rted round with fingers blowing in the wind
of chance and saw their dinghies driftiing sunder
On this Sunday near October
A dinghie rescue came to pass
Cept those still on their ass
But those that did awake and view tothers daft mistake
Of not learning some basic knots
To keep their tenders at no loss
Were treated to the joy
Of 'skippers' faffin in the bay
In the morning of that Day
Of many Forumites who gathered by boat
To the destination I quote
Which to this day is a good Venue
I,m up for it
Are You?
Anyway, what happened when we all went there a few years back
It was great
Nice Cruise down to Nefyn, where the Ty Coch is, good pub on the beach
Tom, on 'Little Ship. the lovely 32 Grand Banks 'woody' for those that don't know
Got invaded and all of us crowded on to His lovely vessel
Not as Purists of wooden boats or of 'Purists of any boats, sail or power
Just, fair play to Tom
He made a Cardinal error
Not in navigational terms by any means
He just said/ broad cast on his vhf

'Anyone want a Drink on Little Ship, Over'
:D:D

15 to 16th August. But the options were Porth Wen or Camaes. Pilots Cove or Ty Coch. Depending on wind direction and consensus. I'm hoping on Porth Wen tbh as it is a different experience but as I will be day tripping every weekend (weather permitting) I'm not fussed. Is twice in a month a bit too social?

Give Enid my regards Kwacka, I'll see if I can book the 30th, but I'll need to go down on the 29th to get a decent spot inshore of the old foul mmoorings.

15/16 also earmarked but 2 trips may strain the wallet and marriage.

Oi Kwackers. What Searush said. I'll be coming right round Anti clockwise of Anglesey on the 30th (29th will be around Bull Bay) so will be last in. Where's this foul ground? How long can you hold your breath for? Should I drag the future son in law with? I don't particularly like him but he could have a use after all

Rushie Drying out on front of the Ty Cock is not good for the liver!

What you really mean is it will take two days for Sea Rush to get there rather than you want to get a good spot!

Bruce .
Anchoring inside moorings not recommended without a trip line. Anchor anywhere outside the existing moorings

Last time we were there as a crowd we met up with LB Coxwain. He came down to check our bonfire on the LB Beach wasn't going to burn the new hut down..

Oh and when we asked the Coxwain which terwat had left his yacht on the LB haul out boy he said he had!

Seemed happy to have anybody use it as long as you were prepared to be shifted at anytime if they needed it !
I am sure a suitable large donation would cover its use! You might even be able to prebook just call in a mayday Amanzi on 16! :o

Would it not best to start a new thread ie cruise with bruce or qwak ps dont invite steve claaaaaaaaaaton
