MOBO big boys toys, safe as caravans

Re: Hah! an obvious ploy

There you are, blatting along at 26kts and a little lost in the open sea off the Bramble buoy. Best find out where we are before scurvy breaks out (forgot to pack limes at Portsmouth).

STOPPP! the boat so we can get a fix and stop me eyes vibrating in their sockets.

Boat now starts to do circles and drifts toward big sand bank thingy.

P.s. where can I but a 115% absolutely no chance, can never never, impossible, your are being totally naive just asking, you silly arse, anti jam anchor winch?

Re: Hah! an obvious ploy

tsk, they don't vibrate unless giant olde-worlde diesel fishy boaty perhaps but even then, not much. Some boats these days it's not obvious if the engines are on. I can sit on foredeck on cushions and just detect the engines are turned on. Rest of the time it feels sort of strangely whooshy, unlike anything else (no, not like sitting on cushion in the wind cos you have v full visual cues of movement...) but anyway, tsk again.

I have managed to jam all sorts of anchors, qand when i thort i had sorted it a friend found you can jam iti nthe hawse pipe...

Re: Hah! an obvious ploy

Green highlighter pen on brown packing paper, I am surprised it didn't end up travelling around the country 2 1/2 times before they found a warehouse with decent lighting to actually read it! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Cheers big ears!

"Tis a fine vessel " etc etc. Now, now , no need to over egg it.
Does look very similar to a portacabin but has the unusual attribute of forward angled windows in the sitting room. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
