Where did the text quote come from? I only ask because no-one actually fell in the water. I agree it was dangerous and inconsiderate though.

It's a moot point, but he falls off the boat but doesn't actually fall in the water, must have a harness and safety line on. Anyway, as I said i'm not defending the mobo, he should have slowed or taken a wider course IMO.

As a raggie I don't see the Mobo doing anything especially wrong - vessels appear to be in a fairly wide marked channel (or just left?) and in that situation I would expect a Mobo to do something as inconsiderate. (not all of them - just that Mobo's kinda like 4x4's - nothing wrong with 'em - just some of the people they attract. Les Nouveau Chav est arrive .

But should not be any great drama for the yacht to deal with if he keeps half an eye astern, either by turning in or in this case I would have taken the roll on the stern. Crew falling over? / nearly falling over? primarily down to him (and helmsman / skipper if not forewarning).

not to say that all raggies are blameless / considerate - just different weapons of choice..........
