Missing hull Id number?? Make/model and year??

Need to register boat but there is no hull number and i don't know what make year or model it is?? Any help would be very appreciated!

What sort of boat are we talking about?
Some photos might enable it to be identified.

Hull numbers are often very small and insignificant. Look at places like the top corners of the transom.

Not all boats have an HIN.

If the boat is in the UK there is no need to register it. That is only necessary if you intend taking the boat abroad. You do not need a HIN to do that only a description and name.

Many older boats have no identification as it is only since 1998 that it became common. Prior to that most boats had nothing or perhaps a little plate with maker and maybe hull number.

As VicS says a few photos might enable somebody to identify the make and model.

As already stated you do not need to register if in the UK, unless you want a marine mortgage?

If it is absolutely necessary then photos or a link to a web site will certainly help.
