Hi,
Last winter i had my 1997 sterndrive serviced. Bellows, anodes .... I stayed onsite to see what the mechs. were doing and they changed both anodes on the drive and when questioned about the anode inside the prop shaft housing they new nothing of its existence. I showed them the service manual and they were puzzled. They went off to VP for the spares and on their return the dismantled the anode and support and discarded them. Occording the VP it was removed on later models.
I remeber that i was well consumed >50%.
Do post '97 SX Cobra drives have this anode?
Thanks in advance
