I may have an alternator and I do have the ready-use spares still. if that's any help. Everything else has long gone for scrap, I'm afraid.

If yours still has a running MD1, I have a set of emergency spares you can have for the postage. You'll recognise it as it's a huge single cylinder deisel with a flywheel that wouldn't disgrace a tractor.

To start a cool engine, set throttle at 50% , press cold start button on top of fuel injector pump to enrich the mixture, then turn ignition key to start position until it fires or battery goes flat.
I have a secondary fuel filter, goose neck fitting and an alternator in the shed if anyone wants it.
