A lot of people have the Milwaukee 0721 and a special bit to winch sails out basically to winch anything in/out.

You can only buy them from the US so the charger is on a 110V system.

Are there any owners on here that have a solution to this? The companies out there want to charge another $100 on top just for a 240v charger.

Thanks

Are you sure about charger mains input voltage? Many modern ones are switch mode and will work on 110 and 230V

Apart from most chargnd power supplies provided in thge USA.

So many visitors from the US fry their cell chargers on the first day.

Just look for something that takes the same plug and the same output!

Tony.

Two solutions

1. Buy a US to British converter transformer from maplins. 220 UK plug to mains and US Plug 110 v goes into unit.

2. If its the same Milwaulkee 28V battery right angle drill I bought then you can buy UK spec Milwaulkee 28V chargers on e bay.
