A bit vague for any meaningful diagnosis really, was it like this before you put the new plug in, what lead you to believe it needed one, did you remove and clean the plug boss at the same time etc etc, to many unknowns.
If you PM me a proper email address I will send you a factory workshop manual though which should help no end.
