It was only reported as 86mph at the Needles, by local BBC TV!
We came through the Needles at about 1500 this afternoon. We didn't see any other yachts out until we got into the Solent but it wasn't too bad - a nice downwind sail on the genny and into Lymington. The sea in Chrischurch Bay was a bit high but manageable. All in all a nice day's sail after being cooped up for the last couple of days...
