metal fabrication

I need a small 1 off steel clamp made for attaching an autopilot arm. I can do a fagpacket sketch and want it made to that diagram.
Any recommendations in or around Southampton for that sort of thing?

there's a good but expensive fabricator based at shamrock quay, has made stuff of the back of an envelope for me (I don't smoke...) once.

But when I say back of the envelope, make sure it is a thorough drawing, sufficient dimensions etc. Take your sketch and talk to the guy who will do it, let him augment your sketch according to your discussion, to minimise chance of not geting exactly what you're after! (speaks from experience)
