Merry fisher stern thruster

Hi Folks
Looking at possibly fitting a stern thruster to our Merry fisher 815 . Its equipped with a bow thruster and i feel having a stern thruster fitted will help with berthing and will result with less arguments with herself ( Mabey not ) Has anyone done this to a 815 or even a 805 ? any help appreciated

Not familiar with the 815, but i had an 805, not much room on the transom for a thruster and the lining in the hull would make it very difficult, unless you cut a lot of the liner away.

There are stern thrusters that can be mounted from the swim platform....with only a small hole in the transom for the wires

Bouba thats what i was hoping for and to use the existing 12v bow thruster battery . If thats possible .
