Mercury Meet 2004 - May 8/9

Re: Oh bolx

You won't need to bring your caravan, theres a caravan site next door. They've got ones you can hire

You might also add Arthur Wood + his wife.

I know they are coming to England in May / June and sure he will want to attend if at all possible. They are currently sunning themselves on one of the Gulf Islands so he may not catch up on this for a day or so.

I can also vouch that despite living in Florida and drinking 'gas' at an obscene rate, he will make an honourable member of the Solent Crew.

Re: Oh bolx

Why can't Blue Fisher make it. Just follow Muckies diesel cloud across lyme bay. You could stagger to the campsite if needed, but it is a bit "carry on camping"

Would be rather neat if he could come - one way of meeting loads of forumites in one go!!!

Re: Oh bolx

Ah well not as farst as Mucky, would soon lose site of his huge clouds of Soltron assisted smoke.

Anyhow I well know my way across Lime bay, just not sure where to go after Portland, worried I'll fall off the end of the earth!

If you think I'm gonna chuck away 3 months of negotiation to make room for another bleedin scot, you've another think coming! Come to think of it, if I'd known LJS was born in Scotland, I'd have checked his diary, and found a date when he couldn't attend!!!!

So that's you, Jimi, LJS, H00 out to start. that should make a bit more room for the rest! <g>

How on earth are you going to get a bunch of scots sober enough to clamber onto my bows without falling over or overboard!?

<hr width=100% size=1>Utinam logica falsa tuam philisophiam totam suffodiant

That's the thing, we won't need to be sober to sink you, with the amount of liquid we will be carrying internally, we should be easily able to swamp you./forums/images/icons/laugh.gif
In fact, Forbsie should be able to take care of that on his own./forums/images/icons/crazy.gif

<hr width=100% size=1>

Oh good grief, I'll take it that's Forbsie added to the list!. Lock up you drinks cabinets everyone.

Anyone Scots trying to swamp boat in that way will have buckets strapped to their safety harnesses. I've bought a whole bunch of kiddie walking harnesses especially - the things you use to stop toddlers running out into the road and getting run over. All the Scots are barred from meet unless they agree to this stipulation, then we'll have all the kids at the event on rota duty to keep Scots at end of leash and under control of responsible kiddies!
