Re: bring yer own straw

Well, you can stay with us if you like. However i will expect the flat sceen tv etc to all be in place afterwards whereas the last boat you stayed on with me was left completley blimmin empty! Tho it was a bavaria...

LJS may be kipping on the sofa, which will also strenthen my hand with regard to getting a berth, somehow. No wellies thanks.

Re: bring yer own straw

DebbieB of MDL has emailed back - will depend entirely on one of hammerheads at MDL being empty, but is hopeful we can sort something out, even if at another MDL marina on Hamble.

OK folks - anyone applying now goes onto waiting list for drop outs or approval from Mercury of extra spaces - and size of marquee, as we already have quota filled! (blimey less than 24 hours, it took weeks last year)

Ianainge has been in contact with Oyster Quay who did food last year, and they are booked. Food about £7.50 a head. Marquee (bigger than last year, and with seperate food and drink marquee to make additional space for more people) about £12.00 per head. So deducting MDL's generous donation to the cause, that will make it roughly £20 per head.

I wonder how many boats are signed up for the RYA Cowes event or the MBY Centenary events............../forums/images/icons/smile.gif

I think the pitch for 35 boats was spot on!

Could everyone who has registered to attend, please pop over to the Mercury Meet forum, and list their details on the 'attendee list'thread.

Please follow the format provided - pretty please! and no thread drift - it will make my life much easier if I can just copy off details for mercury etc if there is no chat
