Mercruiser hours?

Im pretty sure i already know the answer to my question but worth a try...

Is there a way of finding out the hours on my engine?

The boat is a 2003 bayliner
Engine is 4.3 V6 Mercruiser (Carbed)

Im 99% sure i cant find out?

You are correct, there is no system for recording engine hours on this engine, only on the injection versions.
