They were taking part in "God Swap" an exciting new venture into reality television for superhumans and other deity-type beings, where mythical characters exchange lifestyles for a week. Next week: Odin goes to Hades and has a run in with Hephaestus, who has strayed from, er, somewhere. (It's a while since I did Classics).

I expect they will manage to shoehorn in Rick Waller and Jade from Big Brother somewhere - in which case, the programme will be retitled "Beware of Greeks bearing gits"
