Well it's about a mile and half out where there is some water. Black hull and on the aft-deck is a motor boat, a yacht with mast up and a helicopter. Some people are just so indecisive about means of transport:p

Ah yes

Mine's the big house on the hill:cool:

It's a heck of a big yacht. We saw it in Dartmouth a couple of months ago, but I was told that Abramovich had sold it. He also owns Pelorus, seen below in Lubeck 3 years ago.

Vince - the tide was in:p

"In 2006, Roman Abramovich presented Le Grand Bleu as a gift to old friend Eugene Shvidler" (from yacht-sea.net)

I can also see the Grand Designs scrap yard houseboat from my window - a world of some contrast :D

It's been there for a while and I think was there earlier this year. My guess is that someone wants to avoid paying out mooring fees and is using just outside the Ray Gut as a free anchorage that is near central London. Probably, goes somewhere nice whenever the owner is due on board.

She was in Sharpness last Thursday / Friday when we were in there on our way back from London.
The chopper had gone some where.

She was flying a defaced Red Ensign.
The defacing mark was a shield of some sort.
Possibly the Cayman Islands.

One must say that having that lot on ones Quarterdeck makes the accommodation avalable some what cramped.
