Medmenham

I've moored many times at Medmenham and spent plenty of dosh on mooring fees even though sometimes we've only stayed for a couple of hours. So I feel like I may have earned some leeway on use of the field and it's facilities.
Today I wandered along the bank and happened to lie down on a bench for a quick rest and to soak up the sun. Next thing I know the tw*t who collects the mooring fees is asking me to move along as I'm not allowed to lay on the bench. But I could sit there for a quick rest. WTF? Astonished is an understatement. Obviously he has nothing better to do. There are people being killed in this world for the sake of democracy and our freedom. What a Wan**r

One of life's bureaucrats. Unless there were other passersby who might wish to sit, in which case lounging on a bench taking it all up might be a bit selfish, I can't imagine what the motive might be.
